Bill had hinted to Brandy that they could get engaged 2 years
after they had been dating. The 2 year anniversary took place while Brandy and Beacon were away filming the TV show
for CBS. They decided that they would celebrate 1 month later. After a quick secret phone call to Brandy's dad....
Billy took Brandy and Beacon to pick up Brandy's favorite food and headed for Laguna Beach. He planned
a surprise picnic at a location called "On Top of the World", the hills separating the beach cities from
the cities near where they live. After the meal with a wonderful view, Bill encouraged Brandy to get some
pictures of Beacon while he tidied the picnic area. Billy transferred the ring to his pocket and walked
over to the unsuspecting Brandy. He got down on one knee and brought out a BEAUTIFUL ring! Of course, Brandy said
YES! Bill Brinser married Brandy Yant
on April 11th, 2009. The Traditional Southern Elegance of LaGrange
Hall Toasts the Modern Bride. LaGrange Hall is where the Brinser's
Wedding Ceremony and Reception took place in Tennessee. This beautiful plantation is more than 170 years old and is owned
by Brandy's aunt and uncle.
It was a great day and the weather was perfect for an outdoor wedding. The horse and
carriage were a surprise to the guest that brought Brandy and her father down to the waterfront ceremony. There were around
100 guest ready to see the couple exchange vows, a kiss and a promise of forever. An old civil
war cannon was shot to start a new life together off with a bang. Then the bride and groom walked down the aisle as Newlyweds
and got back in the carriage.
The reception was a travel theme. There were luggage tag favors, since many of the
guest were from out of town. They could use the luggage tags to travel with back to their
home. All of the tables were named to match a places the couple had traveled throughout
their relationship with a picture from the place beside the centerpiece. The
couple chose a groom's cake shaped to look like a suitcase to sit beside the bridal cake.
The first dance was to
a Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat
song, Lucky. The couple had been to a few dance lessons to make it fun. The bouquet and garter toss were after the dance and
was rather entertaining. All of the guest ended up leaving right around sunset. At the end of the day, flower dog Beacon was
very tired from so much fun.
